Chemical_Constituents- Pollen contains flavonoid glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside, isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside, kaempferol- 3-O-rhamnosylglucoside. quercetin-3-O-neohesperidoside, typhaneoside. Leaves and flowers contain alkaloid. Inflorescence contains typhic acid. Seeds yield fatty oil
Uses - Rhizome astringent and diuretic.
