Description -
Prostrate herb, branches 7.5-45 cm long, glabrous, nodes often villous; leaves linear or oblong or lanceolate or elliptic, 2.5-7.5 cm long, longer in watery places, rather fleshy; heads axillary, sessile, 0.6-1.2 cm long, white, glistening; flowers minute with corky wings.
Chemical Constituents-
Plant contains Beta-sitosterol, stigmasterol. Root contains lupeol.
Use -
Whole plant used in night blindness.
