Use -
Mucilaginous decoction of roots and leaves used as an emollient in dysuria, diarrhoea, dysentery, swelling and stomachache. Roots useful to arrest vomiting, powdered with pepper and applied in toothache. Leaves applied in eczema and ulcers . The root is useful in dysuria and painful swelling of stomach. Leaves boiled
